No word yet on Riley Lyn... We're all just waiting. It's nice to be finished with school and know that I can go at any time when she's born and not worry about responsibilities. I had a great first weekend of my summer vacation with Matt's family. They came down to Houston on Saturday and left this morning. We of course ate at Pappadeaux and Pappasitos...went to see Star Wars at the Imax and went to the Astros game. I had such a great time...and it's always fun seeing Matt and Chris together. I wish we lived closer so we could see our families more often.
So I guess today was my first real lazy summer day...and I took advantage of it. I slept in (of course), ate a late breakfast, stayed in my pajamas, watched Oprah (which was pretty funny...if anyone else saw it, they know what I'm talking about) and then finally got dressed about 5:30. Matt has been asking me this week, "So what are you really going to do all summer?" He's joking...I think. I don't want all my days to be as lazy as today, but it sure is nice to have a day like that every once and a while. And to my credit, I did leave the house once to do step aerobics. I was the one on the back row stumbling over my step. Yes mom, I really did trip over my step several times. That's what happens when you're lazy all day. Maybe tomorrow I'll even manage to make it out to the pool to get some sun...we'll see.
