Happy Fall!

I love this season...my favorite time of year! The air is cool and crisp...the leaves are starting to change. I think I might actually get to experience a "real fall" in North Carolina. We went to the pumpkin patch last weekend and have our pumpkins and mums on the front porch. Reese is ready to go trick-or-treating next week, and our church is having it's Fall Festival this weekend. We went to the Duke football game last weekend and had to bundle up to stay warm. We even had to turn the heater on this week. Fall is officially in full swing!

Too many pumpkins to choose from...

Reese finally chose this pumpkin...

And then we made her carry it all the way to the car...okay, not really.

Of course we had to go on the hay ride.

On a walk to find more pumpkins. Notice the shoes are missing. The shoes I brought wouldn't stay on her feet. So she did all the activities in only her socks. Aren't I a good mother...

Hiking through the corn-maze.

So excited to finally have pumpkins on our porch!

Your mums, your pumpkins, and your daughter decked in fall attire all look so cute! I'm jealous you get to see leaves changing. Have a fun fall!

I Love the orange socks. She is so in the spirit of the season. Glad you guys are having fun...nothing like a good hay ride to perk you up. Missing you bunches.

So much fun! Reese looks so cute posed on the front porch. I tried to take some pics of Jack & Sam on my porch, but Sam tho't pumpkins made good balls. Oh well, maybe next time! Can't wait to see more fall photos! I know it must be beautiful there!

a corn maze. OR a maize maze. did you suggest that to the keepers of the corn? Your hair is a cute length... as is Reese's. A real fall is so overrated... I like the 40 degree mornings and 80 degree afternoons. You should come back here and enjoy those days with me.
love you,
