It's the holiday season...

Maybe I should just call my blog "Riley through the Seasons"... Last blog was her Halloween picture...and here is the Christmas picture! I'm a proud aunt, I know. Hollie just had Riley's 6 month pictures made and they are all sooo cute. You can see the rest of the pictures on the photographer's website:

Matt and I had a great Thanksgiving. I spent time in Dallas with Justin, Hollie and Riley...went to Abilene for a day and then went to Smithville to be with my grandparents and family on my mom's side of the family. The week flew by and now we're back at school!

Last weekend Matt and I (well actually, just me) decorated the apartment for Christmas. I love Christmas decorations. I've been listening to Christmas music for weeks now. And even though Matt and I will probably be the only ones to enjoy the Christmas decorations, it makes me happy to just sit in the living room with a Christmas tree. I don't even mind grading papers if I'm sitting by a Christmas tree and listening to Christmas music. If a Christmas tree, an Amy Grant Christmas CD, and a precious baby in a Santa costume don't put you into the holiday spirit...I think it might be a lost cause!

I posted a comment on Hollie's blog, but I just thought you should know that I think Riley is so adorable. You have every right to be a proud aunt!

I am glad you had a good Thanksgiving!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS TOO!!! I have already put up my tree and I love when the kids are in bed and I can sit in front of it, drink hot chocolate and listen to Xmas music or watch a christmas movie!! IT must run in the family!! HA :) Of course the kids love it too. Macy likes to redecorate the tree and put about 5 ornaments on one branch!! I'm suprised the tree hasn't fallen over yet!!

Maybe I can come over and see your apartment all decorated!! :)

Love, Heather

I wish I could see the christmas decorations in your place. It reminds me of decorating the President's office 2 years straight with you. Aww the good ol days.
